PRAY!

Mylah is so close to going home but we need your prayers. Dr. said as soon as she starts eating at every feeding she can bust outta there!!

That is what I am asking God for today and asking that you all agree with us in prayer that she will catch on to the eating process and be able to eat without choking and that she will drink enough to let them see she is ready to go home!

Bailey went down early this morning and fed her at 8 and she drank the whole bottle and acted like she wanted more! She was having some bradies yesterday so they put her back on caffeine and she has not had any since. The dr. said she could go home and still be on caffeine so that is good. They will give her a little more blood today and usually that perks her up also.

Doesn't she look amazing without all the tubes? Only thing left is the feeding tube in her nose but if she keeps eating well that will come out soon!

Yesterday she weighed 5 -13 so she is gaining rapidly!

Thank you ALL for praying and supporting us through this. We are excited to see what God has for her life and how He will use her.

All Praise and Honor and Glory to God!

From one excited Nana!

Getting sooooo close to going HOME!

Bailey just sent me this text and it is soooo exciting!

She is on regular nasal oxygen through the wall oxygen (NO MACHINE) and it is at .5 liters, which is barely any! The nurse is slowly weaning it through out the day to see how much Mylah can tolerate! They also may put the feeding tube through her nose today and out of her mouth so she will be able to get a better suction while eating.  The feeding she is getting now is called bolus feeding which means she gets it all in like 15 minutes instead of slowly over an hour, and then they wait 2 hours and 45 min to give her any more. This is teaching her to eat and get hungry! She weighs 5 pounds 9.5 ounces and her bed temperature is down to 27.5, meaning she is almost able to be in an open bed!
We totally give God all the honor and glory and praise for all He has brought her through.
Keep praying warriors, we are almost ready to take her home, but even that will be a transition we will need your prayers on.

The last two pics were yesterday, I opened the "port hole" on her bed and started talking to her and she was smiling and trying to make noise!!!!!
Love this little girl!!

Eight weeks!

Wow, time has flown by! It seems like yesterday we were pacing the halls of the hospital and crying out to God to keep Mylah in her mommy at least for a couple of days so the steroids would work. He was faithful to answer our prayers then and He continues to be faithful today as He will in the future.

Today she hit the FIVE pound mark! Five pounds seemed so far away when she was born! She is trying to learn to nurse and/or drink from a bottle and is doing well as they continue to turn down her oxygen levels.

She still has a few desats and bradies but as she gains weight that should all stop.

Now comes the hard part, since she is getting so big and doing well our anxiousness has kicked in and we want her home! She is close we know and we don't want to rush it but we long for the day that she is in our arms in her home!

As you think of her please pray that her strength would continue to grow and that she would begin to eat on her own.  The nurse said that one day a light bulb would just go off in her head and she would begin to eat without choking or forgetting to breathe while she eats. So this is what we need to be praying about now!

Thanks again faithful warriors and we look forward to sharing her with you all!

She sleeps with her mouth open just like her daddy!!!

Breathing TOTALLY on her own!

Mylah is 7 weeks old and is totally breathing on her own! Pray that it continues and that they she NEVER has to go back to the CPAP!

She weighs 4 pounds 3 ounces and is up to 37 mils of food, which is given to her over a two hour period and then she gets nothing for an hour. This is to help her start getting the feeling of being hungry.

Our hope and prayer is that she will get to start trying to nurse this week. She is sucking a pacifier pretty good, but the "talent" of sucking, swallowing and breathing all at the same time is one she will have to learn.

Technically she is 35 weeks in gestation age so she is getting close to her original "birth" date.

We can not thank everyone enough for all your prayers, love and concern through the past 7 weeks. Please do not take her off your prayer list just yet. Continue to pray that she tolerate all the changes they are trying to get her used to and that she continue to gain weight and strength.

This is sweet Mylah today! If you look closely it even looks like she is getting a double chin!!

I have to say that I am one happy NANA! I got to hold my little princess Mylah for the first time yesterday! It felt good, even with all the wires!

Can't believe its been SIX weeks!

Mylah is doing well. She is still struggling to get over that 3 pound 11 ounce mark!

She has been on 5 days of steroids and they gave her blood today, which usually perks her up ALOT.

Our prayer request is that you all agree with us that her lungs will improve enough to get off the CPAP and that she will begin to be able to suck a pacifier so that she can start trying to eat for real!

I know God is in control and He has it all under his timing and not ours! But we are anxious to move on to the next step that will get her home!

Thank you so much for your continued concern and prayers.

Here is the precious baby you are praying for:

Please pray the steroids help and the lungs develop.

She was even trying to suck her thumb tonight....So cute!

Five Weeks today!

Wow how quickly things change! When I realized I haven't blogged about Mylah in a week and read the last post she wasn't even 3 pounds yet and I am so happy to say that today she is.......

THREE POUNDS NINE OUNCES!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is growing wonderfully! They transferred her to another kind of bed, it still has the top in it but the temperature is regulated differently because she is maintaining her temperature fairly well on her own. The next step is an open bed!

Mommy is still getting to hold her everyday for two to three hours!

The eye doctor came and checked her eyes again and said they still look great!

Please continue to pray that her rapid growth continues and that as they begin to try to teach her to eat from a bottle that she will be able to learn it quickly.

2 pounds 14 ounces!!!

Yes, Mylah is almost THREE pounds! She was at 2 pounds 12 ounces for a couple of days and then jumped to 2 pounds 14 ounces today! So excited and can not wait to hit the Three pound mark!

Mommy is getting to hold her every day, but was nice and shared the time with daddy on Saturday!
Doen't he look happy? He was very happy but was shocked how small she really was!

She is still eating 8 mls an hour and doing well with just the CPAP in her nose. Today they turned down the heat in her bed and if she can keep her body temperature up they will let Mom dress her tomorrow! So very excited to see her in clothes even if it just a onesie!!

So guess where Nana is going tomorrow......You got it, shopping for premie onesies!!

Keep the prayers coming! Thank you all once again.

Doing well after giving us scare!

I have been sick this week so I have been unable to go see Mylah, which is sad for me! I miss her but I know she does NOT need any germs!

She has been gaining weight, she is up to 2 pds 12 ounces! So excited to see her edging closer to that THREE pound mark!

They removed the vent tube Tuesday and put her back on CPAP and she is doing well. Her feedings are up to 7.5mls per hour and they will continue to up it.

Wednesday evening when mommy and daddy got there her heart rate started rising and went to 220 BPM. The alarms were sounding and the nurses went into action, getting X-rays and blood work. The Nurse Practitioner thought it might be an infection but Praise God the blood work showed none. An EKG was done and proved nothing was wrong with her heart, Thanks be to God! The final diagnosis was that she had too much caffeine in her system, therefore they quit the caffeine for now. As of today her rate was in the 160's to 170's which is pretty much where it has been.

Mommy has gotten to hold her every day for a couple of hours and I think Daddy is going to take over tomorrow and get to hold her for the first time!

Once again we are so thankful to all of you who have been following this blog and on facebook and are willing to cry out to God when things happen like Wednesday and to pray for her each day. I have heard from so many people who are praying and churches who have her on their prayer lists and for that we are so thankful and blessed. We many never know how far reaching her little life has been used to bless others. We would love to hear from those of you who are praying. Leave a comment below or email dearmylah@gmail.com

Doing Great!

Ok so I haven't updated since Thursday! I am so sorry but ya know life kinda gets in the way sometimes!

But we have GREAT news today......

Well, first let me recap the past few days! It has become very apparent that Mylah has a mind of her own and she will let you know what she likes and doesn't like! Boy are we in for some fun with this little girl! Anyway, she Loves her belly but hates being put on her back! Every time they would put her on her back she would Desat, so they put her on her side with what we call a baby body pillow with her hugging it and she loved it!

She has been tolerating her feedings as they up them every other day and they began weaning her off the ventilator. She slept through her visit with Mommy on Mother's Day but we understand, we were tired too!

OK, OK here is the best news.....today she is off the Vent, no tube down her throat! She is back on the CPAP with just the thing in her nose! The rate is at 20 which is good and they upped her feedings to 5ML each hour. She drop a couple of ounces but they are not concerned it is fairly normal for her to fluctuate, so today she is at 2 pds. 7 oz. She did have to have a blood transfusion this morning because her blood count was a little low. Now I know that when you think of blood transfusion you think they are taking all her blood and giving her all new but that is not what they are doing. Basically they are just giving her a little blood because she is low....as Grandpa Cory says "They are just topping her off!" The blood will also help her not have the bradys and desats as often!

Bailey will probably get to hold her tomorrow, they wanted her to rest today since she has been through so much getting adjusted to everything new!

Another answer to prayer, the eye doctor checked her eyes and said they look good. The eyes are always a concern in premies because of the oxygen they give them. But Hallelujah, they look good. He will come back periodically and check them.

Isn't she precious! Love the "No Tube" look!!!

Please continue to pray for her, she still has a lot of growing to do before she can come home.

Pray that she continues to gain weight and that she continues to do well breathing with just the CPAP and doesn't have to be intubated again.

I know God is hearing our prays and we feel the presence of God in and around us from you all lifting us up.

I have more bracelets coming in this week if you didn't get one or know someone who needs one.

Thanks again!

Today was a good day!

Sorry, I havent been updating everyday, days seem to be flying by and there really hasn't been much change the past couple of days. A friend told she wanted to here something everyday even if it is "No Change!" So I will try to do better!

She is maintaining her weight, it fluctuates between 2 pds 6 oz and 2 pds 7 oz. They are giving her a water medicine to keep fluid from building on her lungs so that is why her weight is not real steady, but they are happy with how she is doing. She is eating 3 ML each hour now and will increase that to 4ML tomorrow. She is digesting it all so digestion is doing great!

She has had some desats the past couple of days that kind of scared us, but it is just mucus in her lungs getting in her airway. Her heart rate remains steady so once again the nurses are happy.

They are trying to wean her off the vent and hopefully in a few days they can remove the tube.

We are just impatient and want her growing faster, but we know she is in God's hands and she is right where they expect her to be. We just want it faster!!!

Please continue to pray that her lungs remain clear and start to get stronger so she can get off the vent.

Oh, I have more bracelets on the way so if you didn't get one please let me know!

Two Weeks Old

It has probably been two of the longest weeks I've been through in a LONG time! It has been emotional, uplifting, and a growing experience for us all. I pray that God has used Mylah to change your view of Him and his faithfulness and mercy to us.

She is still doing great.  The latest cultures are showing NO infection and her chest X-Ray is looking good. Praise God!  She is still have a few desats in her breathing so they are trying to wait for those to slow down before taking her off the vent. They have tuned it down to 10 which means she is pretty much breathing on her own and it is set to 21% oxygen which is what we breathe.

Her weight is fluctuating between 2 pds. 6 oz and 2 pds. 7 oz, but I think that will increase quickly as she is getting her feedings upped each day. Today she was getting 2 ML every hour and digesting it all, so they will keep increasing it. A baby her size should be eating 20ML every three hours, so she has a ways to go.

Sorry I haven't gotten any new pictures, they are keeping it pretty dark in her room, just all a part of simulating the womb.

She is doing so well that it is almost disappointing that she isn't growing faster but we have to continually tell ourselves that she is really just at 30 weeks and should still be inside mommy for the next 10 weeks. We are getting a visual of the growth that happens inside mommy, which is pretty cool if you think about it!

Not surprising, we can add the word Patience to the list of things God is teaching us! Not a word that anyone likes to hear but we HAVE to TRUST that God is in control and be PATIENT.

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

Lord, help me to Trust You and wait Patiently for you to continue your work in Mylah.

Two weeks later!

It is so hard to believe that two weeks ago we were sitting in the hospital waiting for Mylah to be born!

Today she was resting so good! She is still on the vent but pretty much breathing on her own. Her lung x-ray is looking better and the latest cultures are showing no signs of infection.

We continue to give God all the glory for her progress. In our flesh we may not feel its going fast enough but we are on Gods timeline not ours.

Thank you all so much for your continued support and prayers. We are truly overwhelmed and blessed by your love and thrilled that we can share God's unending mercy in Mylahs life.

Trust God!

Today, Mylah had to be reintabated, she was having some problems breathing. This is not really a set back, they told us this could happen the first few weeks, on one day off the next, but it is still a little rough after the exciting day yesterday of Mommy getting to hold her.

They also think she has a slight infection in her right lung so they have her on antibiotics and doing respiratory therapy, which she lets them know she doesn't like!!

When I was there this evening they had turned the vent all the way down because she was breathing so good! It seems she just needs a boost every now and then! And the nurse felt she was responding to the meds. Her color was great she was a nice pink! It is the little things that make us smile and after seeing her every day we are quick to notice the changes!

God has spoke to me a lot today about Trusting Him. Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not unto your own understanding."  I have pondered this all day and I have a lot to say about what I am learning through this, however it will have to wait until tomorrow, I am exhausted!

So tune in tomorrow!

Pray that Mylah continues to breathe better and most of all the Infection goes TOTALLY away.

She is still strong enough to kick her foot loose from the band so she can stretch!

Mommy got to hold me!

Today was a great day. We walked in and Bailey started talking to Mylah and she opened her eyes and smiled....it was amazing!

We went not really expecting anything because the nurse yesterday told Bailey that Mylah would have to be much more stable before she could hold her. Well.....today's nurse was shocked that she hadn't got to hold her yet and told her Mylah needed it. So.....

She got to hold her for over an hour and daddy made it there in time to get to see her up close too!

They upped Mylah's feedings to every 3 hours and she is still digesting well! She is still having a few bradys a day so they have adjusted her CPAP and they feel this will help. Every thing is going well but please don't stop praying. There are still many bridges to cross. They will begin checking her eyes soon and other developmental things. Pray that everything continues to develop properly and that God will be glorified in the process.

Happy 1 Week Birthday!

It is so hard to believe that it has been a week since our little Mylah entered the world!

We went the hospital today with the anticipation of Bailey getting to Kangaroo her, but we also knew that it would have to be perfect circumstances because they only think of Mylah's well being (as it should be). She did not get to hold her today because Mylah had had a few bradies today. Not too many but they just wanted to let her rest and not get excited yet. Bailey did well with it, she knows in time it will happen and we do NOT want to rush anything.

Her vitals are all holding steady and as we said yesterday, she is back on the CPAP and not the vent, so she is basically breathing on her own again. The Infection is still looking like it just a small one in her lungs but not bad and they are continuing the anitbiotics for a few more days.

She had not been fed for a couple of days because she was not digesting well so they tried it again today and at 4 pm she had digested all they had given her today and so the feedings were continuing at a rate of 1 ml every four hours!

We just got word this evening from Grandma and Grandpa Hulslander that when they were there the nurses weighed Mylah and she weighs.........drum roll please.............2 pounds and FIVE ounces! Yes, hallelujah she gained TWO ounces and is almost back to birth weight!

Oh the little things that excite us these days but I want to give the Glory to God for EVERY step she takes.

Daddy changed her diaper today, I think he needs some more practice, but he did good!

I love to watch Mom and Dad look at her!

Happy 1 Week Birthday, Mylah! Nana Loves you so much!

Once again, we still have some bracelets if you would like one and we covet your continued prayers. Also, we know that God has already used Mylah in many lives, and we would like to hear about it. Leave your comments below telling us and Mylah (we will keep all of them and put them in a book for her) how God has used her in your life.

Praise God for more answered prayers

WOW,  what a difference a day makes. Yesterday was very emotional for us all, after Mylah breathing on her own for five days she began to struggle and they had to intubate her to allow the ventilator to help her breath. They had warned us that this could happen, but we were on such an emotional high since she had been doing so well. It was a true test of our faith. I would love to say I passed with flying colors, but I have to confess I did not! I passed but not with an A!

We were all quiet when we sat with her yesterday to allow her to rest without stimulation, because she tries to open her eyes and starts squirming when we say her name, Especially when she hears mommy and daddy talk! The nurses felt she was improving but also were concerned that she was trying to fight an infection. Praying against infection was the main focus of prayer yesterday and I am so excited to announce that the 24 hour cultures are showing NO INFECTION in her blood. She could have a slight infection in her lungs but they are treating that and her lung x-ray today looked great.

As Bailey and I went to her room today the nurse stopped us and told us they needed to talk to us before we went in her room and of course our hearts sunk. They said things had changed and we would see some different things when we looked at her.

Well..........it was different because there was NO vent tube down her throat! About 30 minutes before we got there Mylah decided she didn't need it anymore and pulled it out! She is a fighter I tell ya! The respiratory therapist decided that for now she was trying to tell them she didn't need it. She is breathing better than I have seen her breathe since she was born.

Here she is just kicked back relaxing with her foot resting on mommy's hand!

The picture above was before they realized she also pulled out her feeding tube, so they of course had to put that back in, but it was so good to see her without anything in her mouth!

Later mommy got to change a dirty diaper (which we always get excited about!). And the nurse let her hold her while she changed the bedding. Bailey was grinning from ear to ear!

If Mylah remains stable, Bailey will get to Kangaroo her tomorrow, which is where they actually get Mylah out of the bed and put her on Bailey's chest inside her shirt, so Mylah can feel Mommy's skin! She will get to hold her for about an hour this way. The nurse said it is amazing how fast the babies start to grow after mommy gets to start holding them this way.

Look at the leg action here! She is pushing herself up with her leg and was trying to get it out from under the strap over it!

Thanks once again for all your thoughts, prayers and concerns.  Today our prayer requests are:

1. That Mylah continue to gain weight
2. That there would be no infection
3. That she continue to breathe well on her own
4. That mom and dad continue to hold up and get rest

Also, I have some wrist bands if anyone would like one just let me know. It is just a reminder to pray for her, it says "Pray for Mylah" on one side and then on the other side it says "Full of Mercy" which is what Mylah means.

Prayers Needed!

This post will be short just a quick update and request for prayer. Mylah had a small set back last night. She was having more Brady's then they like so they intubated her. This may sound bad to us, but she is only 2 pounds 3 ounces and it is hard work to breathe on your own! This is what she needs to rest and gain strength, it is just scary for us and especially for Mom.

Pray for Mylah that she rest comfortably, continues to gain weight and strength.  Thank you so much and I will update later today.

God is Good ALL the time and ALL the time God is good!

Saturday, April 28, 2012

First Saturday, but no cartoons yet!

Mylah has done remarkable thus far and we give ALL the Praise and Glory to God. Yes she has some great doctors and nurses and the technology now is crazy but God still holds the key to her health!

She has gained 1 ounce which is great because she had lost 3 ounces but with this gain we are believing that her weight will continue to gain. Papa and I stayed a couple of hours with her today and she did have a couple of "Brady Episodes" but she "fixed" herself. In other words her heart rate dropped but she immediately started right back up with no stimulation.

They came and took the CPAP machine from her room so we are excited that they don't think she will not need it again and pray that this is true.

Her feedings were upped to every four hours instead of every six, however she wasn't digesting it fast enough so they bumped it back down. This is not considered a set back, they are just trying to figure out what she can tolerate and obviously she is not ready for that much food, however they said she has to be challenged.

Prayers now should be for her that the Brady's stop happening, her breathing continues to do well and that her digestion kicks in better and of course for her weight.

I continue to be challenged each time I go with the question, "Who are you trusting?" I see all that Technology has brought to the medical field and the things that they can do to help her but I can't trust that, I HAVE to trust God. Today, there were several alarms go off on her while we were there, some were because her continual kicking pulled off the wires! Others were because her heart rate dipped momentarily. The nurse assigned to her at the time carries a phone that is to ring when there is an alarm and it will show them what the problem is, however Deb had to go get her nurse one time because she didn't hear her phone. Now I think that is totally UNacceptable however God once again reminds me that He is ultimately in control. Do I think that gets this nurse off the hook? NO! But as I left there uneasy about what happened I am asked.......Who Am I Going To Trust?

    Mommy Taking my temperature

Hello World!!

Day Three

She has had to be under the light a couple of days to avoid jaundice which isn't uncommon even for full term babies. We call it getting her tan on!

She is now just on regular high flow oxygen, which is HUGE! At this time she is not having to use the CPAP and is having very few if any "bradies" which is the slowing of the heart rate.

They had to take out the straight line tube to her stomach which was through her belly button and put in a picc line, which was just all a part of the plan. They can only use the belly button for a few days and then it closes up.

She has a tube in her mouth going to her stomach for feeding and to help release any air she might have built up on her tummy from the oxygen AND she is now getting 1ml of mommy's milk! She has lost a few ounces which is normal so now we just need to pray she starts gaining.

They turned off the light for a bit and took off her mask while they changed her and when Bailey started talking to her she opened her eyes and turned her head to her!

Let's not forget Daddy in all of this! Darrin was such a great supporter of Bailey while she was in labor and now he just sits and talks to Mylah, telling her she is doing good and when she cries he touches her head and tells her "It's OK Baby!" They are both being so strong and I know will be amazing parents.

Happy Birthday Mylah!

Here she is after arriving in the NICU and getting all hooked up! It really isn't as bad as it looks, most of the wires are just for monitoring and the thing on her nose is a CPAP, like those adults wear for sleep apnea. She is breathing on her own this is just giving her a burst of air occasionally to help "remind" her to breathe! Notice how big the "premie" diaper is on her!! They have extra small premie ones they are using now!

She is perfect just tiny!

We know the road ahead may be a long one, but we also know that Our God is exceedingly, abundantly able to do over and above what we can even imagine.

How Mylah's Journey Began

This post is written by Mylah's Nana Jeana! I wanted to share the many miracles that I have witnessed in the short 6 days of this journey. I know there have been so many people praying from the time the word got out that Bailey was in labor 12 weeks early until Mylah was born and I know that you are still continuing to pray. This blog was started with the idea of keeping everyone up to date on Mylah and her progress, and as one of our prayer warriors put it, "feed her Mylah addiction!" I know that Facebook is being updated by many but there are those, believe it or not, that do not have a Facebook page and so this is a way for them to check up on Mylah and to see the specific prayer needs that we may have as the days and weeks progress.

At 4:08 AM, Sunday, April 22, I received a text from Darrin saying that they were headed to the hospital that Bailey was in a lot of pain. It was in her lower back and then every now and then it would be all over and then go away for a bit. Well, as a mother, I instantly knew this was labor pains but I never thought they would continue. It was confirmed she was in true labor and they were going to monitor her for awhile. The contractions were every 4 minutes and meds were given to stop them and they did stop for about an hour but then came back and continued to get stronger. They wanted to transport her to Tulsa so she would be close to the NICU but she needed to stabilize first which wasn't happening. Prayers began to go before the Father for this specific request and within the hour she was stable enough to be transported, Praise God!

She arrived at St. John's Tulsa around 9:30 AM Sunday and we were excited to find out that our dear friend Ellen Mayberry, OB/GYN nurse, was on duty that day. It was so good to be able to ask her questions and know that she was getting answers because she was just as concerned for Bailey and Mylah as we were. The plan was of course to continue to try to stop the contractions as long as possible. They said they would like at least 48 hours to get the steroid shots in her so Mylah's lungs would develop.

Sunday was just a day of watch and pray! Many people called, came and sat with us, and even brought food and "supplies"! Bailey was amazing throughout the day even though her contractions were still 4 minutes apart and they didn't want to give her any meds for them. Finally about 5 PM they decided that she could have an epidural and she fell right to sleep! Around 4 AM Monday morning we were awaken from our comfy (ha, ha!) waiting room chairs to find out that they thought she had slowed down enough that she would not have her at least until later that day so we came home to sleep a few hours.

Later Monday it was decided that they would stop the meds that was holding off the contractions around 7:30 PM and if Mylah decided she was going to be born they wouldn't stop her! At 10:45 PM it was very apparent that we were going to see our 3rd grand baby soon!

Bailey was a trooper, the epidural had worn off, they couldn't give her more, and they had to give her meds to increase the labor because she had developed a fever. Once again prayers were being prayed all over! As I would text a few people the specific need they would share it and begin to pray, I can't count the number of prayers I saw answered in the next few hours. And I know of some that stayed up all night with us just praying and crying out to God on our behalf.

At 2:08 AM, Mylah Kay DeShazer was born! "She is PINK", is what the nurses kept saying, which was fabulous for her age AND get this.....she was breathing on her own! Yet AGAIN, God was protecting her, as I stood there snapping pictures as fast as I could, a nurse wanted to put a tube down her throat to "help" her breath as they transported her to the NICU and the dr. who had just been standing by letting them do their job said very adamantly, "NO! I don't want to put a tube in her unless I have to."

I can't tell you the emotions that I was feeling at this time and I have never been more excited to hear such a little mousey cry in my life!

And she weighed in at......

And so her life story begins..........

It's A Girl!

Two months ago we got this picture telling us that Darrin and Bailey's baby was a Girl! Everyone was so excited to know that Mylah Kay DeShazer would be born on or around July 17, 2012.

But obviously Mylah Kay, well actually God had a different plan. April 24, 2012 at 2:08 AM, Mylah Kay DeShazer entered the world at a huge 2 pounds and 6 Ounces and 15 Inches long!
